Terms & Conditions
By accessing any membership, goods, or services provided by Point Pilates Pty Ltd, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please ensure you have read and understood them before proceeding with any purchase or service. Additionally:
1. General Agreement
1.1 You confirm that you have received, read, and understood these Terms and Conditions and agree to comply with them in full.
1.2 No terms or conditions contained in any of your documents will override or alter these Terms and Conditions in any way.
1.3 Point Pilates Pty Ltd reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time by providing written notice.
2. Point Pilates Intro Offer and Packages
2.1 The Intro Offer is available to new clients only and may be redeemed once per person.
2.2 The Intro Offer must be paid in full at the time of purchase and is valid for 14 days from the date of the first class booked. Unused classes will expire at the end of this period and cannot be carried over, refunded, or credited.
2.3 All class packages (excluding memberships) must be paid in full upfront and are valid for the time period specified at purchase. A package will expire when all included classes are used or when the validity period ends (e.g. 5-class pack: 1 month, 10-class pack: 3 months)—whichever comes first.
2.4 Packages are non-refundable and non-transferable. Extensions may be granted in cases of medical injury, if a valid medical certificate is provided. Requests must be submitted before the package expiry date.
3. Memberships
3.1 All memberships operate on a 7-day billing cycle, with payments automatically deducted from the payment method stored in your Momence account.
3.2 Memberships require a minimum commitment of 12 weeks (3 months), consisting of 12 consecutive weekly payment cycles. After this period, you may cancel your membership by providing at least 7 days’ written notice in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
3.3 Membership fees are charged weekly via direct debit, using the credit or debit card linked to your account.
3.4 Memberships automatically renew each week unless cancelled in accordance with the cancellation policy.
3.5 All memberships require the stated minimum commitment period, unless otherwise specified or if upgrading to a higher-tier membership.
3.6 Each membership includes a fixed number of group classes per week (e.g. 2, 3, or 5). Classes must be used within the weekly billing period and do not roll over. Unused classes will expire and cannot be credited, transferred, or refunded.
3.7 All memberships are non-refundable.
3.8 If an automatic payment fails, the system will attempt to process the payment up to three times. If payment remains unsuccessful after these attempts, future bookings will be cancelled and a $15 failed payment fee will apply.
3.9 Memberships may be paused due to injury or extended leave, subject to approval and submission of supporting documentation (e.g. a medical certificate). All pause requests must be submitted in advance of the requested pause period.
4. Private and Semi-Private Sessions
4.1 All private and semi-private sessions are available by appointment only and subject to instructor availability.
4.2 Appointments must be paid in full at the time of booking. Sessions not paid at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled time will be considered unconfirmed and may be released to other clients.
4.3 A minimum of 12 hours’ notice is required to cancel a private session. Late cancellations will result in the session credit being forfeited.
4.4 Rescheduling is permitted but subject to availability. We recommend providing as much notice as possible to secure your preferred time.
5. Booking and Payment
5.1 Class bookings can be made via the Momence App or through the Point Pilates Pty Ltd website.
5.2 All class bookings are subject to availability.
5.3 To secure a spot in a class, you must either have an active membership/package or complete payment at the time of booking.
5.4 Class spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. To avoid missing out, we recommend booking in advance.
5.5 If you’re unable to attend a booked class, please cancel as early as possible to free up your spot for others.
5.6 If a class is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be notified promptly via text, phone, or email—provided your contact details are up to date.
5.7 If your preferred class is fully booked, you may join the waitlist. If a spot becomes available, you will be automatically enrolled and notified by text or email. If you do not respond, it will be assumed that you intend to attend.
6. Cancellation of Booked Classes
6.1 To cancel a booked class, you must do so via your profile on the Momence App, the Point Pilates website, or through our booking system as early as possible.
6.2 For members using a Membership, Class Pack, or Intro Offer, cancelling a class less than 6 hours before the scheduled start time will result in the loss of that class credit.
6.3 Cancellations made within 3 hours of the class start time—or failure to attend without cancelling (a “no-show”)—will result in the loss of the class credit. In addition, a $15 fee will apply for late cancellations or no-shows if this occurs more than once per calendar month.
6.4 If you experience unforeseen or exceptional circumstances, you may contact the Point Pilates Pty Ltd team to request a credit or refund. Requests are reviewed case-by-case, and approval is at the sole discretion of the studio.
7. General Terms and Conditions
7.1 Before participating in any class, you must inform a Point Pilates Pty Ltd staff member of any injuries, illnesses, or medical conditions that may affect your ability to take part in the class or use the studio’s equipment and facilities safely.
7.2 Any injuries or accidents that occur during a class must be reported immediately to a staff member.
7.3 The beginning of each class is essential for proper warm-up and safety. Classes start at the advertised time. If you arrive late, the instructor may, at their discretion, refuse entry. In such cases, the class credit will be deducted and is non-refundable.
7.4 Class bookings are non-transferable. Only the member who made the booking may attend. If someone other than the registered member arrives in their place, they will be refused entry and must purchase their own membership or class pass.
7.5 You are responsible for your personal belongings while at Point Pilates Pty Ltd. The studio is not liable for any lost or stolen items.
7.6 Minors aged 14 to 18 may be eligible for membership with written consent from a parent or legal guardian.
7.7 By attending classes and using Point Pilates Pty Ltd facilities and equipment, you acknowledge that participation is at your own risk. Classes are physically demanding and may pose health risks if you are not medically fit. It is your responsibility to ensure you are physically able to participate safely.
